UQ Vets Worldwide (VWW) SIG
UQ Vets Worldwide is a student-led special interest group dedicated to preparing future veterinarians for impactful work in animal health, public health, and global development.
Our mission is to educate and inspire veterinary students in local and international veterinary aid, animal welfare, disease control, and the interconnected nature of animal, human, and environmental health.
Formed through the merger of three previous SIGs (Vets Worldwide, Pathology, and One Health), our group brings together a broad range of perspectives and practical skills under one collaborative umbrella. We focus on real-world learning opportunities that bridge theory with hands-on experience and interdisciplinary engagement.
