One Health SIG
The One Health SIG is here to spread the message of One World, One Medicine, One Health.
We explore how human health, animal health and environmental health all interactive with each other. In this SIG we learn the importance of epidemiology in control of disease outbreaks and spread of zoonotic diseases.
We are here so we can tell you all about the important role veterinarians play in not only animal medicine but human medicine too. Join us in 2020 and become part of the One Health Initiative.
COVID-2019 Workshop
With the most recent outbreak of novel coronavirus we are holding an interactive workshop where you can come along and learn all about the COVID-19 outbreak and explore how this epidemic came to be.
Outbreaks on the Big Screen
The One Health film festival! As a SIG we will choose 3 movies involving disease outbreaks to have a look at how Hollywood displays an epidemic. These movie sessions are a great opportunity to come and hang out in the library, take a break from study, eat some food and watch a quick flick.
